One of Chichesters most traditional shops, crammed with thousands of masculine tools, has recently taken on a surprisingly feminine dimension.
These days, delicate silver heart-shaped necklaces and pretty earrings sit proudly alone side a butch array of Swiss army knives and macho torches in David Messams window in East Street.
These beautiful handcrafted pieces of silver have been crafted by Lesley Messam, wife of the stores third generation owner, Keith. “Making silver jewellery started of as a hobby, but I’ve become so passionate about it, its actually become more like a job.”
Now, I’d like to share the exciting world of jewellery creation.
I am please to offer workshops so you can created your own special pieces of jewellery.
Workshops take place in my warm and friendly
home. All of the tools and
material you need will be supplied and are included
in the price.
The price also includes drinks and light refreshments,
but if you are attending an all day workshop, please
bring your own lunch
Payment for your workshop can be cash or cheque.
