Silver Workshops

One Day Introductory Workshop.
This workshop gets you started with art clay and can be taken even if you have no previous knowledge of the material. After the workshop you should feel comfortable working with metal clay on your own.
We will be going through the basic techniques of handling the clay, shaping and forming it, firing times and temperatures, you will also get to try syringe and setting stones. You’ll leave with 2-3 finished pieces of fine silver jewellery.
The workshop fee includes silver art clay, a couple of lab-created gemstones and use of the syringe. Tools are provided and non-stop tea, coffee and biscuits . Please bring a packed lunch.

One Day Improvers Workshop.
This course is for those who wish to learn advanced silver clay skills, but are not looking for the certification of the Level 1 course. You will learn ring making, syringing, how to patina (add colour) and stencil.
You are encouraged to ask about which techniques you wish to learn, as this course is a lot more flexible.

One Day Silver Clay &  Dichroic Glass Workshop.
This is  for those who have had some experience with silver clay. You will learn how to use combine silver clay and dichroic glass to add a new dimension to your creations.
Please note: Previous experience with silver clay is essential for this workshop.

You can make any form of Jewellery you wish: pendants, earrings, broaches, rings, tie-pins, cufflinks, bracelets, charms, the possibilities are only limited to your imagination.

The material used during the workshops is Art Clay (or Art Clay Silver), it comes in many forms, as a paste, as paper, even a syringe. You will be using Silver Clay.


You will have loads of fun, creating and playing, and going home at the end of the day with your own unique piece of solid silver jewellery.
